The beauty and brutality of Nature:

The Human World:

About Me:

Photography saved my life.

It's my sincere pleasure to be alive with you.

Huge updates, better organization, and print ordering COMING SOON!

Here you will find examples of my work presented in an effort to celebrate the overwhelming beauty of the world around us. I'm in love with life and with being alive; It hasn't always been that way. I've struggled with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse for over 20 years. I used to think saying any of that out loud was something shameful and something I was supposed to hide in order to either protect myself or to not make other people uncomfortable. Photography helped teach me that was self-defeating. It gives me a reason to get out of the house, a reason to interact and collaborate with other human beings, and is quite simply the most effective therapy modality I have yet to discover.

At the core I consider myself a nature photographer because I think that everything is nature and that a skyscraper is as natural as a beehive. I don't exist within a single genre and really enjoy pushing my creativity with new projects. Whether that's macro photography of spiders in the garden, a fast-paced hockey game, the bond between a pet and family, or a fashion shoot on the streets of downtown Seattle at 3am with wardrobe changes in the alley; I'm here for it all. After 12 years of obsession, if I can see it, I can capture it. Some stuff I can take pictures of I can't even see!

A picture is not about the photographer; it's about the inherently temporary thing, person, place, or situation that is being shown and is now able to be seen forever! My mission is to witness, to remind, and to inspire. I look at things in a way most don't and I enjoy sharing my eyes and giving those visions value outside of my own head.

I've been slow to share my work publicly and to take myself and my skillset sincerely. Exposure to the culture of social media had me confused that I would first have to learn how to become some perfectly packaged manicured and impeccably curated thing in order to ever market my work or share my authentic human perspective.

What I have to offer is reality; as a person and as an artist. I'm a naturally shy human being working on breaking out of my self-imposed isolation to openly and proudly join in celebrating and capturing forever the beauty of temporary life with all of you. Life is hard enough when we work together and it's doomed if we don't.

Currently in the beginning phases of starting a YouTube channel where I will be unpacking and talking about the toxic side of social media on art and self-expression, the fact that having problems doesn't make you a loser it makes you human, the incredible therapeutic power of using photography for something other than looking cool on the internet, and how to take better pictures so you can look cooler on the internet.

Art saves. 📷

Prints available of the images shared here on photo paper, canvas, and metal. Contact me directly for ordering between now and when I can get the "ordering through the website thing" figured out and in place.

My images are never AI generated and I have the RAWs to prove it. (This is a thing you have to say nowadays...)
